“You live and learn,” Joe Burrow reflects on his disappointing performance against the Los Angeles Rams after Super Bowl defeat

It became a bridge too far in the end for the Cincinnati Bengals, who had dreamt of winning their first-ever Super Bowl this year. The Bengals fell agonizingly close against the Los Angeles Rams to finish second-best on the night after the match finished 23-20.
Bengals’ modern-day quarterback Joe Burrow, self admittedly did not have the best of outings on the pitch and it was one of the reasons they failed to bridge the gap on their rivals. The 25-year old felt disappointed with his own performance after his side failed to score a single touchdown in the final 25 minutes.
Joe Burrow is confident that they will come back better next year with the learnings from this Super Bowl defeat

“Disappointed in my performance overall,” Burrow said after the game. “Thought I could have played better. You live and you learn.”
Joe Burrow claimed that he could have performed better to etch his side’s name onto the history books as they hoped to become the first Bengals to win a Super Bowl. The quarterback finished 22-of-33 for 263 yards and one touchdown in the loss, good for a 101.0 passer rating.

However, despite the heart crunching defeat, Jor Burrow remained positive in his outlook and hoped that the Cincinnati Bengals would use this as a stepping stone for the upcoming offseason and put in even more hard work to make themselves better equipped to take on the bigger challenges posed in the NFL.
“We’ll take this and let it fuel us for the next few years,” Joe Burrow said while speaking with the reporters after the Super Bowl defeat.
