This offseason has been one of the most mind-boggling ones in NFL history. We have seen crazy deals being signed left and right by teams to make themselves worthy of the Super Bowl.
The New Orleans Saints saw a regime change after Sean Payton decided to step down as the head coach. Now, Dennis Allen has taken up the responsibility to coach the Saints and did a bold move right off the bat that shocked the NFL world.

Dennis Allen, former defensive coordinator of the Saints has now been promoted to head coach. And with that power, he has decided to move back up QB Taysom Hill to the tight end position and utilize him. “The role for Taysom is going to be a lot more of the move tight end type of role. Because I think he can be one of the better players in the league in that role. I don’t like having Taysom standing next to me on the sideline,” Allen said.
Taysom Hill went undrafted in the 2017 NFL draft and joined the Saints as an undrafted free agent. Hill mostly serves as the team’s backup quarterback and has also held various other roles on offense and special teams, including as the primary gunner. The Saints have used Hill as a receiver previously and he has shown great potential at that position. Seeing Hill don a new role in the 2022 season will be a treat to watch!
