“You need Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers and …” Kendrick Perkins calls for more support from veteran players on the Brian Flores issue

Brian Flores has brought in serious allegations against three NFL franchises, on the grounds of racial discrimination. The former Miami Dolphins coach alleged that the New York Giants, Dolphins and the Denver Broncos simply considered his coaching application to play along with the Rooney rule and did not consider him a genuine candidate for the job.
This has led to a massive furore among the fans pundits and players who are involved in the NFL. ESPN pundit Kendrick Perkins joined in on the bandwagon to give his support towards Brian Flores and also suggested a move that would help in the eradication of the racism problem in the league.
Kendrick Perkins wants the white players to speak up and not wait for them to be asked
Speaking on the issue on ESPN’s podcast, Perkins called on the other white players of the NFL, namely the likes of Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning and his brother to speak up more on such issues. He urged more white players to take the racism problem very seriously.

Kendrick Perkins said, “When it comes down to a situation like this, a lot of these tweets on this issue are from African-American. In order to start changing the narrative, we gotta have white Americans tweet out in support of power, right now. You need the Tom Bradys, you need the Aaron Rodgers’, you need the Peyton Mannings, Eli Mannings. You need those guys speaking up and standing voluntarily, not when they’re asked for an example. “
“My thing is that the only this is going to change s that we need people from other races to step up their voices and say things. It can’t just come from all of us, or one of our own(African American),” finished off Kendrick Perkins on the Brian Flores issue.
