“His legacy has changed”: Kyle Brandt makes bold claims about OBJ after Super Bowl win

Kyle Brandt had a few things to say about Odell Beckham Jr on the Good Morning Football show

The Rams and the Bengals gave us an entertaining encounter at the Super Bowl. Right from the word go, the competition was intense as both teams were eyeing the ultimate glory. The Rams were the favorites to lift the trophy and they sure started that way.

Although the Rams’ star quarterback Matthew Stafford was having a tough night, the team from Los Angeles was still in the lead after the end of two quarters. However, the Bengals took complete control in the third quarter scoring as many as 10 points. Then we witnessed another turnaround.

“No one saw this coming a year ago”: Brandt on Rams Super Bowl win

The Rams absolutely destroyed the team from Cincinnati in the final moments and the game ended 23-20 in their favor. Although a lot of star players performed brilliantly for the Rams, the man who kicked things off in style for them is none other than Odell Beckham Jr.

Odell scored the first touchdown of the Super Bowl LVI and forced basketball legend Michael Jordan to shake a leg. Although OBJ sustained a knee injury that forced in out of the game, his contribution was pivotal in the Rams’ win. Talking about Odell on the Good Moening Football, Kyle Brandt recently had a few things to say.

OBJ brought a Super Bowl to LA. They don’t get into that game without him, they don’t win that game without him. He is a champion now, his whole reputation has changed, his legacy has changed. It is really really cool what happened to him and no one saw this coming a year ago,” he said.

Kyle also pointed out that it used to bother him to see a picture of OBJ among legends like Brady, Jim Brown, and others on the wall of the studio but after the Super Bowl win, that picture makes a lot more sense. “I think they should make OBJ’s picture bigger on the wall, make Jim Brown’s one smaller,” Brandt said jokingly.
