Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Dwayne Haskins recently died in a truck accident in South Florida. The 24 year old quarterback was walking on the highway for ‘unknown reasons’ as per police when he was bit by a dump truck.
Dwayne Haskins was involved in a training camp in South Florida with other Pittsburgh Steelers quarterbacks, wide receivers and running backs. Several of his teammates and near ones have posted emotional messages on social media.

Haskins had reposted a video shot by a fan on his Instagram story. The short clip of 12 seconds shows Dwayne Haskins having fun with the fan and posing in front of the camera. The fan with the handle @najee_harris goes upto Dwayne Haskins and asks for his autograph and also appreciates his dressing sense as he asks -“Is that Burberry?Damn you got money on you”.
The video has been posted on Twitter by a fan called Brett Hanfling who wrote – “Dwayne Haskins just posted this video having fun and joking around yesterday. It’s a reminder how fragile life is.”
Fans posted emotional messages in remembrance of Dwyane Haskins in the comments section. “We all know living out the very day you wake up is never promised. This is so sad. Will be interesting to see how & why he was hit. Was he inebriated walking in the middle of the road, was he sober? These are the answers that will be answered,” wrote one.
“Bro this makes me sick! Got bro team and family in my prayers!” wrote another.
