Scottie Scheffler and Matthew Stafford
Matthew Stafford is a name to reckon with in the world of the NFL. The star quarterback recently guided his team, the Los Angeles Rams to a Super Bowl title win. Although he wasn’t having the best of games on the night of the finale, the Rams still managed to pull off an emphatic win.
Throughout the season, Stafford played a major role in guiding his side to important wins. He ended up setting a franchise record with 4,886 yards passing during the regular season. Moreover, he registered impressive numbers in the playoffs as well. He ended up passing for 1,188 yards and nine touchdowns with just three interceptions in the playoffs.

As expected, the Rams are in no mood to let go of Stafford. Not long ago, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Matthew Stafford and the Rams reached an agreement according to which the star QB is tied to the franchise for the next five years. Recently, Matthew’s name surfaced on Sunday’s broadcast of the Masters.
As it turns out, star golfer Scottie Scheffler and star QB Matthew Stafford have got something in common. Both of them went to Highland Park High School in Dallas, Texas. Scheffler, who is around 9 years younger than Matthew, graduated from Highland Park in 2014 after which he attended the University of Texas.
As far as Stafford is concerned, he graduated early from high school and went to the University of Georgia in 2006, where he spent three years in Athens as the Bulldogs’ quarterback. Stafford has played a huge role in the Rams’ success last season and we expect to see more from the champion QB in the season to come.
