David Bakhtiari has had quite a frustrating time in recent times. Bakhtiari has been suffering from an injury which has kept him out for a long time now. Unable to play for such a long period of time, it has affected his mental health as well.

David Bakhtiari made just one appearance last season and missed some crucial matches. He has been dealing with a knee injury which also made him miss out in the Green Bay Packers playoff game against the San Francisco 49ers.

David Bakhtiari recently married fiancée Frankie Shebby at the Rosewood Miramar Beach resort and his Green Bay Packers family were there to support him. According to a report from NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur was happy to see David Bakhtiari dancing at his wedding. Matt LaFleur believes it is a good sign and shows that Bakhtiari is in a good mental space.

David Bakhtiari had earlier spoken about his frustration having to deal with the injury. He said his ACL was in good condition but his knee needed to recover. “No. The hurdle you want to get over is having a full recovery from an ACL,” he said . “I know my ACL is good. My meniscus is good, they cut out like 10-15 percent of it. It’s just my knee needing rest. Structurally it’s good. Just need to take this time off.”

It’s just tough when the answer is the one answer you don’t want to hear: Don’t play football for a while,” Bakhtiari said.
