The Dallas Cowboys had all the resources at their disposal, but unfortunately, they weren’t able to perform as per expectations in the Wild Card round clash against the 49ers. Dak and Co looked a little underconfident, to begin with, and the 49ers took full advantage of that.

The loss evoked some serious reactions from the Cowboys fans. First, they ended up throwing trash at their own players, then there were speculations that their target was the referees, and then, news of Cowboys fans getting involved in ugly brawls outside the stadium with 49ers fans also surfaced.

It was evident that after the shocking loss, the Cowboys and their fans will get trolled as the internet spares no one. Even renowned golfer Paige Spiranac recently trolled the Cowboys. She had posted on Twitter, “When your running back is so expensive, you don’t have enough money to pay the refs.” She was referring to Ezekiel Elliott who ran for 31 yards against the 49ers.

Barstool Sports, in a recent tweet, targeted the Cowboys fans, Lakers fans, and Yankees fans by indirectly referring to them as bandwagon fans, the ones who start following a team on the basis of their recent success. “Don’t worry babe, Duke is top 10, we still have the Lakers and the Yankees will be back in a few months,” they Tweeted.

The Lakers won the NBA championship back in 2020, however, this time around, they haven’t been at their best. Moreover, the Cowboys started exceedingly well and dominated the proceedings in the first few encounters this season but lost their rhythm midway. They ended up making the playoffs but had to bow out due to a loss against the 49ers.
