NFL legend, Tom Brady never misses a chance to tease his teammates, just like he recently took a shot at his former teammate Julian Edelman on Instagram. Brady, at 6 foot 4 inches, is known to be fairly tall in the NFL, however, that seemed like a joke as he stood next to San Antonio Spurs rookie Victor Wembanyama.

French native Wembanyama recently got an opportunity to meet arguably the greatest quarterback in NFL history. As counted among the highest-touted competitors in the NBA, the Spurs rookie aspires to gain the greatest player status in the NBA, like how Brady has in the NFL.

On meeting the 7-foot 4-inches NBA player, Brady shared a post on Instagram with a lovely caption, writing:

Awesome to meet you. Incredible young man. Usually I’d make some joke here about how I think I could get 10 and 10 against you, but let’s be real…you’d send my jumper into the club level.

But that isn’t the end, as the former star quarterback shared another picture with the former wide receiver of the New England Patriots, Julian Edelman standing next to him. He and Brady played together for 10 seasons with the Patriots. Brady ended with a sarcastic comment on Edelman by tagging him and writing:

This is how you felt all those years???

Edelman’s response to Brady’s comment was even more hilarious, as he said nothing but attached a famous GIF from the popular sitcom, The Office, from the scene where the character of Michael Scott told the camera that he is “dead inside.”

How Julian Edelman became MVP despite being just 5’10”?

With his 6’4″ height, it was easier for the former quarterback Brady to see over the defense and direct the field in front of him. But his teammate Edelman was six inches shorter than him, at 5 foot 10 inches. He perceived even shorter because the position he played had great importance and a competitive advantage of height.

But that didn’t stop Edelman from going after what he truly aspired for. Growing up, the former wide receiver wasn’t satisfied with his height as he often cried to his parents about being just five feet tall. Despite the shortcomings, Edelman recorded 2,237 yards and 29 touchdown passes and became a star at Woodside High.

And he feels utterly proud of where he got despite his short height. Though earlier he didn’t like jokes made about his height, now he has grown above. Alongside Brady, Edelman won three Super Bowl championships for the Patriots. After winning Super Bowl 53, he was named MVP with a record of 10 catches and 141 yards, against the Rams.
