Kevin Ware Jr. didn’t have a great career which etched his name in the minds of the fans. He had a rather transient stint in the NFL. He played 11 games for the Washington Redskins in 2003 and 5 games for the 49ers before being released in September 2004.

As per Harris County District Attorney Kim Ogg’s office, if Ware is convicted of the murder of Taylor Pomaski, he will face 15 years to life in prison. Taylor’s mother Leslie Mandeville recently opened up about the horrific crime committed against her daughter by the former NFL player.

“He’s never been held accountable,” Pomaski’s mother told Fox News. She also added that Ware should spend “the rest of his life in jail.”

This isn’t Ware’s first run-in with the law. He has a history of violence dating back to his college days. In 2002, Ware pleaded guilty to misdemeanor assault while attending the University of Washington. In 2018, the 41-year-old was sentenced to two years in prison for intent to manufacture or deliver a controlled substance which is a first-degree felony. Then in 2021, he was caught with drugs, a loaded AK-47, and a 9mm pistol. Ware has left behind a long list of criminal legacy and it is time he pays the price for his misdeeds and for taking the life of Taylor Pomaski.
