Tom Brady has completed his 23rd season in the NFL with an 8-9 losing record and is incidentally his first losing season in his entire career. The Bucs were out of sync the entire season and it was sheer luck and the inability of the rest of the teams in the NFC South to win games, that Tampa Bay made the playoffs.

Now that the 45-year-old quarterback is a free agent, the entire league is wondering where Brady will play his 24th season if at all he plays. He does have a cushy $350 million deal from FOX Sports to be an analyst, but most of his friends believe he will return next season.

Longtime teammate and close friend of the Bucs quarterback, Rob Gronkowski, has admitted that Brady will come back for sure because there is no drop in his production as a signal-caller but isn’t sure that he will stay in Tampa Bay.

Rob Gronkowski joined FOX NFL Sunday’s crew and talked about Tom Brady and discussed the potential landing spots for the 7x Super Bowl champion. “Everybody wants to know about Tom Brady’s future. I don’t even think Tom knows what his future holds right now. But let me tell you this: He was top five in passing yards last season. He can still play the game. And he’s probably getting some treatment on his arm as we speak right now, so he’s gonna be ready to go next year,” Gronk said.

Gronk also added that even he is intrigued as to where Brady will land for the 2023 season. He said that where Brady might feel the most excited to play football, that’s where he will land. There were rumors floating around that Gronk might unretire for the second time because he was bored at home. And it very well might be true.

The Las Vegas Raiders were ready to sign Brady and Gronk as a package deal back in 2020, as per rumors, but that didn’t turn out to be true. But Las Vegas might be a potential spot for Brady seeing how the Raiders might part way with Derek Carr. They might draft a quarterback but they can’t rely on a rookie to face Patrick Mahomes and Justin Herbert twice a year. The Raiders are loaded with elite offensive weapons like – Davante Adams, Hunter Renfrow, and Darren Waller. With the addition of Gronk as well, Las Vegas will be formidable.

Another possible landing spot for Tom Brady might be the Miami Dolphins. Brady spent his first 19 years in the AFC West, so he is familiar with that division. Also, the Dolphins tried to poach him on two different instances so they might be inclined to do so once again. Dolphins’ GM Chris Grier said a few days back that Tua Tagovailoa will be their starting quarterback, but passing up on Tom Brady even at 45 years is something a team might think long and hard about.

It’ll be an interesting offseason with Tom Brady in free agency for the second time in his career. Let’s see which teams make the best offer that will provide Brady with his 8th Super Bowl ring.
