Tom Brady has retired from the NFL for good after 23 seasons of pure wonder. The former Bucs QB left the sport as the greatest QB to ever grace the field. However, it wasn’t the case always, as in 2015, Brady was part of a massive scandal that had the potential to tarnish his great legacy.
Brady has won 7 Super Bowls in his long career with multiple teams. However, in the 2015 season, the then-Patriots QB was accused of cheating during the AFC championship game.
The Patriots and Brady were accused of deflating the ball so that it could be easy for Brady to throw them with pinpoint accuracy. This was found out during the Patriots-Colts AFC game where the Colts linebacker D’Qwell Jackson caught an interception and felt that something was off with the ball.
A massive investigation took place after the chaos that ensued during the game and both the Patriots and Brady were heavily fined, while the former Patriots QB also suffered a multiple-game ban for his supposed wrongdoings. Brady completed his suspension and started playing games again. However, a 10-year-old Ace Davis wasn’t satisfied with that and wanted the legendary QB to get caught for his wrongdoings.
The child was so inspired that he won a science competition where he proved how Brady cheated the NFL and deflated the football for his personal gain.
Ace Davis believes Tom Brady is a cheater
Tom Brady has lots of fans around the world. However, the influencer has also made many enemies and 10-year-old Ace Davis was one of them who made it his life’s mission to catch the Super Bowl-winning QB for his wrongdoings.
Ace, who was a quarterback himself, confessed to hating Brady and wanted him to get caught because he believes that the former Bucs QB is a cheater.
“I hate Tom Brady. He’s been accused of cheating before. I want him to be caught… The Patriots were found guilty of doctoring footballs, thus losing $1,000,000 and future draft picks. Tom Brady is indeed a cheater,” Ace Davis stated about Brady.
Ace ultimately won the science competition due to his detailed and technical methods that tried to prove that Tom Brady was a cheater and deflated the ball for his personal advantage.
