After a magical season of 12-5, the San Francisco 49ers seem to be following the right path as they scored a victory in the divisional round against the Green Bay Packers and advanced to the Conference championship. Interestingly as Brock Purdy and Christian McCaffrey are being praised for their contributions to this victory, defensive end Nick Bosa appears to be trending on a different note.

While addressing the media after the big win, Bosa shared that he planned on watching some game film later in the evening to get better and analyze his performance. He was asked if he would enjoy a beer as his choice of beverage when he watched the game films, and his response couldn’t have been any better.

The star defensive end said, before leaving the podium with a grin:

Though Bosa was subtle with his response, everyone knows what that “something else” meant, and seems like fans have gotten quite hung up on that. 

Apart from that, when Bosa was asked about his team’s victory, he said they needed a game like that. As for the whole of halftime, their opponents, Jordan Love-led Packers dominated the field and were leading at 21-14 midway through the third quarter. If it wasn’t for Brock Purdy’s 69-yard touchdown game-winning drive at the end, the Niners may have been eliminated from the playoffs.

This isn’t the first time that DE Nick Bosa has been linked with drugs during his NFL career. Previously, while discussing how Bosa would want to improve his performance, with former NFL player Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones, he shared the rumor he heard about Aaron Rodgers taking ayahuasca, a psychedelic drug to improve his performance, and jokingly added that he would do the same if gets a chance.

Now, as he subtly hinted he enjoys something stronger than beer, fans can’t help but link these two together and call him a ‘drug addict.’

One fan wrote, “ngl the revelation that nick bosa is a drug addict connects a lot of dots for me,” While another wrote, “Safe to say he’s a smoker.”

Though there is no proof of whether it is true or not, considering the way how Bosa grinned when he left the podium, says a lot.
