The 12th annual NFL honors took place on February 9, Thursday, at Symphony Hall in Phoenix, Arizona. During this annual award show, the NFL recognized the league’s best performances and athletes from the season. As a part of the show, the 49ers tight end George Kittle entertained his teammates with a serenade about the San Francisco 49ers’ season and sneakily took a shot at the Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott.
Kelly Clarkson, the first female host in the event’s history, encouraged Kittle while he was showing appreciation to his teammates Brock Purdy, Christian McCaffrey, and Nick Bosa in the questionable singing performance. However, during his performance about appreciation, he couldn’t help but take a shot at the Cowboys QB Dak Prescott. The Niners beat the Dallas Cowboys in the second round of the NFL postseason.
“Yes, our season’s over. And yes, that last game blew. But Brock you should still feel proud. We wouldn’t be there without you,” sang Kittle during the NFL honors. “And Christian McCaffrey, dude can run, catch, and pass. But I prefer Nick Bosa, throwing Prescott on his ass.“
After his first bit, Kittle really gave in to the performance and even hit the high notes, all while American singer-songwriter Kelly Clarkson encouraged him from the stage. “Cause we belong together now, yeah. Forever united here somehow, yeah. You got a piece of me! And honestly, my life would suck without you, and you, and all you guys too. Thank you,” sang Kittle while Bosa was visibly cringing in his seat.
What’s next for the San Francisco 49ers?

The San Francisco 49ers, led by their genius head coach Kyle Shanahan, hit the jackpot in the 2022 NFL Draft when they drafted the Iowa State quarterback Brock Purdy as the last overall pick.
And now, they have two starting-caliber quarterbacks on their roster on a rookie deal. So they can move on from their expensive backup QB Jimmy Garoppolo and pay that money to a skill position player to help their quarterbacks.
It’s no question, there will be a starting QB controversy in the Niners camp during the 2023 season if Purdy healed quickly from the injury he suffered during the NFC Championship game against the Eagles.
However, it’s always good for the team when you have two talented quarterbacks in a rookie deal. Now all they have to do is find a way to keep the talents like QB WR Deebo Samuel, TE George Kittle, and RB Christian McCaffrey in the team to help their QB achieve success.
