5 Players who can go as first pick in the 2022 NFL Draft

The 2022 NFL draft is closing in on us and will be starting on the 28th of April up until the 30th of April. The event will be taking place in Las Vegas and all the fans are focused on what talents their respective teams will be able to pick.
At the moment, the Jacksonville Jaguars will be getting the first pick and will be followed by the Detroit Lions, Houston Texans, the New York Jets and the New York Giants. Hence the question which remains is which players are in focus and can become the first pick in the 2022 NFL draft.
1. Aidan Hutchinson
Aidan Hutchinson has been without a doubt one of the most impressive players last year. The defensive end for the Michigan Wolverines has won a plethora of awards which include Ted Hendricks Award, Lott IMPACT Trophy, Lott IMPACT Trophy, Lombardi Award and the Nagurski–Woodson Defensive Player of the Year. He’s being backed by many to become the No.1 pick.
2. Yury Travon Walker
Travon Walker for the Georgia Bulldogs is another player who has the potential to be the No.1 pick. A junior who’s currently studying Sports Management, he plays as a defensive end for the Bulldogs. He stands at 6′ 5” amd weighs around 275 lbs. He has slowly creeped into the battle against Aidan Hutchinson.
3. Trevor Penning
The next on our list is offensive tackle Trevor Penning who plays for the Northern Iowa Panthers. In 2021 he featured for the First-team ALL-MVFC. As a sophomore he started in all of the 15 games for his university. He’s currently one of the highest rated offensive tackles and one to watch out for.
4. Christian Watson
It has already been predicted that wide receivers will be in high demand in this NFL draft. And hence there needs to be one receiver on our list and we have included Christian Watson from North Dakota State. He averages a staggering 20.5 yards per catch during his college career along with a career-high 800 yards on 43 catches.
5. Malik Willis
Our list would be incomplete without including a quarterback. Malik Willis who plays for the Liberty Flames is one of the hottest property at the moment. He earlier featured for the Auburn Tigers before going to Liberty in 2019. He was the 2020 Cure Bowl MVP, 2021 LendingTree Bowl MVP and the 2020 Dudley Award.
