Dwayne Haskins Jr. tragically passed away in a road accident a few days back. The talented quarterback played in the NFL for three seasons and was just starting to show his real prowess on the field. The investigators have refused to give details about the horrific crash saying that all relevant info will be released only after the case is closed. However, as per New York Post, a local resident named Chris Stanley had revealed shocking details about the incident.

“Dwayne was about halfway, to a quarter way in the right lane, already onto the highway and I was already concerned that somebody was going to strike him right there at that moment,” Chris had stated and now, it has been revealed what Dwayne’s wife went through on the day when the disaster unfolded.

According to the Associated Press, Kalabrya Haskins had called Florida 911 where she had claimed that Dwayne’s car has ran out of gas and he isn’t picking up her call. “I just want somebody to go in the area and see if his car is there and if he’s OK and if anything happened to him,” she said. “It’s not like him to not call back.”

“I don’t want you to panic, but I am going to be honest with you,” the dispatcher informed Kalabrya Haskins. “We do have an incident on the highway, but I can’t confirm if that’s your husband or not.” The dispatcher then Kalabrya to stay strong while she tried to get more info.

While on the call, Kalabrya started crying and praying. “Please Lord, please Lord,” she said. She later got to know that it was indeed her husband who lost his life in the fatal crash.
