“A hopeful return” LA Rams look to re-sign star WR Odell Beckham Jr. with this INVENTIVE proposal

Odell Beckham Jr. played a significant part in the Ram’s Super Bowl-winning season last year, but an uncertain ACL injury sidelined the WR resulting in him not getting a new contract and becoming a free agent.

Currently, the 29-year-old is a free agent and recovering from his injury. Odell Beckham Jr. still has a lot of clubs lined up to sign him and one of them is the LA Rams. The Rams are looking to re-sign their star player who played an instrumental part in the last season.

The Rams have reportedly left a locker room and kept the lights on for Odell Beckham Jr. as a gesture that they are ready to sign the WR. The Rams had the option to sign him when he was suffering from his injury but they didn’t. If no other club comes looking for Odell then he will have to take his services back to the Rams.

This gesture can sway Odell Beckham Jr. to sign for the Rams when he’s healthy and ready to play again. The Rams are looking to defend their Super Bowl title and will be looking to add some firepower to the offence. The catch is Rams only have $1.9 million left in their salary cap and that was below what the 3 time NFL Pro Bowler demands in terms of salary.

Is the gesture made by the Rams enough to persuade Odell Beckham Jr to sign for them

The locker room and nameplate gesture by the Rams are quite sentimental and Odell will likely consider it, but we don’t know if it is enough for the 29-year-old to reject other teams. The only other team who has shown interest in signing the Super Bowl are the Buffalo Bills, so it looks like slim pickings for Odell Beckham Jr.

The deal that the Rams will offer Odell will likely be tied to incentives to team achievements. A similar deal was offered to him by the Rams which saw him earn maximum money when he won the Super Bowl.

Odell Beckham Jr. is currently recovering from an injury but still, he is a quality WR who is deadly on the run, any team who signs him will benefit from the WR. Only time will tell if the Rams manage to convince Odell to sign for them.
