“It might’ve been the flu vaccine”: A.J. Hawk mocks Aaron Rodgers’ claims of being vaccinated

“It might’ve been the flu vaccine”: A.J. Hawk mocks Aaron Rodgers’ claims of being vaccinated

If Aaron Rodgers was not a quarterback in the NFL, he could have made been one hell of a lawyer, the quarterback has a way with words and he does not tell the whole truth but at the same time, he does not lie either. He beats around the bush pretty well. Last year when the NFL mandated all the players to get vaccinated in order to be eligible to play and wear masks when they are not on the field, Rodgers was asked during one of the press conferences if he was vaccinated. The quarterback replies, “Yes, I am immunized.” In that particular context, any person would assume that he meant that he was vaccinated and any rational person answering that question would have given a straight-up yes or no answer.

Aaron is different he did not really lie but neither did he tell the truth. We all know what happened after, the backlash that he faced as he stated that he did not trust the vaccine and was not comfortable putting something into his system that was barely researched. In short, he sounded like an anti-vaxxer, and he also stated that there were other players who had not been vaccinated but were not getting as much flak as he was. The difference was that they did not lie about their immunization status as Rodgers did.

“He wanted me to congratulate him because he got vaccinated”: A.J. Hawk on the last time he spoke to Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers’ vaccination status still remains in the dark

Aaron Rodgers recently went on the NBA on a TNT show along with his golf buddy and teammate for the upcoming match against Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen. Apart from promoting the match, Aaron looked like he was very happy, and he has not been on the Pat McAfee show for a while as well. Pat wanted to check in on how he was doing and asked A.J. Hawk if he had been in contact with him, A.J’s reply will have you laughing so hard you could have tears in your eyes.

“Yea, last time I talked to him he like made a big deal and wanted me to congratulate him because I guess he just got vaccinated so other than that I don’t know what’s going on. He’s said, ‘Í’ve come around guys, announce it to the world.’ I thought it was a little bit late but you know,” Hawk hilariously ridiculed Rodgers.

A.J. was not done there, he added, “It might have been the flu vaccine, I don’t know he didn’t say exactly what it was.” It is only fair that Rodgers gets trolled for this as he made a big scene out of this last year when everyone asked him and reassured him that the vaccine was safe. There are people who believe that this is a rumor as it is extremely hard to believe.

“Would it be news if all of a sudden Aaron came out and got vaccinated?” Hawk asks, Pat McAfee thinks it would be a big deal, “YEAH dude, it would be news to me too, why now, and not when we were getting run through every single political television on planet earth and not just on the United States of America.”

Aaron has always been immunized though so his vaccination status does not really matter nobody knows, it is still a mystery if Rodgers is vaccinated or just immunized for now.
