After the Chargers vs the Chiefs game at the SoFi stadium a few days ago, two fans from opposite teams engaged in a very heated debate that led to a fight. In a nail-biting contest, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Los Angeles Chargers 30-27 courtesy of an inspired fourth-quarter performance where they scored two touchdowns- one more than the Chiefs.

Due to the intensity of the game, things started to heat up amongst the fans too. While the temperature soared inside the SoFi stadium, it got out of hand outside the stadium after the game as fans started getting into verbal and physical fights. In a video that surfaced online, two people from opposite fan groups were seen engaging in a very heated fight.

The fight went on to the extent that other fans had to interrupt the two. It was too late though as one of the men straight away threw the other from a bridge. Fortunately, the man who fell down didn’t injure himself much and was able to get up immediately.

Fans on social media are condemning this fan violence and are questioning the extent to which people can go for supporting their favorite teams. While sports is something that is deep-rooted in people’s lives, an attempt to murder someone for it is going way over the board and such actions should be reported and called upon.

The Chargers haven’t had an ideal season so far but with 5-5, sit at the No.2 spot in the AFC West division- three wins behind the Chiefs. They have lost their previous two matches and will be desperate for a win against the Cardinals next week. Before Christmas, the Chargers will take on the Raiders, the Dolphins, and the Titans.
