Serena Williams is often regarded as the best female tennis player of all time. It’s a usual occurrence to spot celebrities and politicians in her matches and the energy was the same this time at the U.S Open.
The Broncos Russell Wilson and his singer wife Ciara were spotted in the stands among the many celebrities that also attended the match. This U.S open is probably Serena Williams’s last tennis so it was a graceful farewell for her.
Russell Wilson and Ciara were present in William’s box along with her sister Venus and mother. The Patriots owner Robert Kraft was also present at the star-studded event with his fiancee. New York Jets Ben Simmons was also spotted gracing the crowd.
It was a tense showdown between Serena Williams and the Australian Ajla Tomljanovic who won the opening set against the American. Williams tried to fight back by winning the next set but it was an uphill battle for her as she lost the final match of her career.

Serena Williams always could pull huge influential crowds at her game. Though she didn’t get involved in politics much, her game was attended by Bill Clinton and mayor Eric Adams.
Likely, many celebrities were spotted at this event. NFL’s Russell Wilson and his wife Ciara shared the crowd with Anna Wintour, Editor of Vogue Magazine. Esteemed golf player Tiger Woods was also present at the match.
The crowd also included actors, Zendaya, Chelsea Handler, and Rebel Wilson. Supermodel Bella Hadid was also present with her sister Gigi Hadid. Former NBA player Steve Nash and filmmaker Spike Lee were also attendees at the star studded event.
