Aaron Donald is one of the best defensive players to ever set foot in a football field. #99 is a perennial Pro Bowler and always in the running for the defensive players of the year, when it’s all said and done he will have a bust in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. That day may come sooner than later as was speculated after Donald and his team the LA Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals to win the Lombardi trophy.
But Donald’s retirement and an eventual career in the media will hinge on another person. The man with the big headset in Rams dugout, Sean Mcvay.

Talking with NFL Network’s Andrew Siciliano and Maurice Jones-Drew during Training Camp: Back Together Saturday, when asked by Sicilliano about his head coach ever decided0 “Put the make up and be fancy and go to TV, would he(Donald) be here?“. Donald replied “Not at all.”
Donald added “If Sean ain’t here, I told Sean when he first got here. We came up with some things early and I first told him as long as he’s the head coach here, I want to continue to build my legacy with him. As long as he’s here and I got the ability to still play at a high level, I’m going to be here. When he’s gone and it’s all said and done, that probably will be when I’m hanging it up, too.”
The legacy Donald has built is nothing short of extraordinary and has him counted as one of the best to ever do it. As the Rams get ready to defend their title, Rams fan should enjoy and soak it all in as this Coach-Player combo may ride off into the sunset sooner than later.
