NFL’s Week 17 ended with an inter-divisional rivalry game between the Green Bay Packers and the Minnesota Vikings. Both these teams came into the game with a record of 7-8. They looked to strengthen their case for a postseason berth. The Packers won their week 16 game against the Carolina Panthers, and one of the main reasons for their recent wins was the team’s RB Aaron Jones.

The Packers won their game against the Vikings mainly because of a solid performance from their Pro-Bowl RB. Against the Panthers, he rushed for 127 yards on 21 carries, whereas against the Vikings on Sunday, Jones accumulated 120 yards on 20 carries. He supported the team’s QB, Jordan Love, and together they won the game 33-10.

Tempers flared after the game, though, and Jones unfortunately copped a blow while trying to separate a scuffle. NFL on ESPN shared a video on their official Twitter account that showed the rusher taking a blow while trying to diffuse a fight between a couple of players. However, Jones shook hands with some Vikings players after the entire situation ended.

This is what Jones said:

At the beginning of the season everybody tried to count us out. In the middle of the season everybody tried to count us out. I think that speaks to a lot of these guys in this locker room, tuning out the noise and just getting to work.
