Aaron Rodgers appears to have made it his life’s mission to prove limitations set by medical science as being wrong. The quarterback for the New York Jets suffered a brutal rupture to his Achilles tendon in the first few minutes of the season opener against the Buffalo Bills.

This injury made one thing certain, fans would not get to see Aaron Rodgers back in action for at least the remainder of this season. The QB underwent surgery for the same and just 5 weeks later, fans cannot help but be left in awe over the progress he has made.

The quarterback forgot to mention that consumption of psychedelics could potentially give you the power to heal at a rapid pace similar to the Wolverine. The New York Jets posted a video before the commencement of the team’s matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles where Aaron is being escorted from the parking of the stadium to the entrance to the locker rooms. The QB seemed fine, even while walking, he managed to do so without the assistance of crutches or a walking boot.

An Aaron Rodgers comeback late into this season cannot be ruled out

This video, however, posted by the NFL shows Aaron Rodgers back on the field, just throwing the ball casually and getting his arm warmed up to the motions. This video leads Jets fans to be optimistic and just goes to show that Aaron was not kidding when he said he was trying his level best to get back on the field ahead of the schedules planned out by the doctors.

Could this mean that Aaron Rodgers is a lock to return towards the end of this season or maybe even the postseason? The answer to that is, it depends. Firstly, the New York Jets need to make it worthy of Aaron Rodgers’ time and effort to return. If the season is already lost, then it does not make sense for the team to risk sending him out there as they get no returns. A return in the postseason would be possible, that is if the Jets could get there by themselves. The team stands 3rd in the AFC East, and after having seen what the Miami Dolphins are capable of inflicting, it is probably safe to say that the Jets are not making the playoffs this season.

In all fairness, Robert Saleh, the Head Coach for the Jets was telling fans all along to not count out an Aaron Rodgers return this season. “I wouldn’t put anything past him. I think he gets stronger when people doubt him. I think he’s the type of guy that gets stronger…I don’t put (the possibility of him returning this year) past him,” Saleh had stated in one of his earlier press conferences. Will fans get to see Aaron back in action this season? Only time will tell!
