“Aaron Rodgers and his grandpa Tom Brady,” Josh Allen aims sly dig at veteran quarterback duo ahead of ‘The Match’

What was originally scheduled as a friendly golf match between the four quarterbacks of the NFL has certainly picked up some steam as we head closer to the eventual match. Tom Brady will team up with Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers to take on the young dynamic duo of Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen on the 1st of June.

Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen had already started the fireworks as he continuously aimed trolls at Rodgers and Brady throughout the week, in the buildup to this historic golf match. Patrick Mahomes has occasionally joined in on the trash talk while Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady have generally bore the brunt of them all, coming into the match.

Almost 24 hours ahead of the match, Bills’ Allen took to his official Instagram account to probably aim for one last jibe at his senior opponent. The 26-year old wrote, “Thank you fullswingsimulators for helping me prep to beat Aaron Rodgers and his grandpa Tom Brady in the match.”

It was a cocky move from the youngster, as he seems the match will definitely go in their favour. Earlier Josh Allen had commented on Brady’s lack of witty remarks while implying that he did not make up his own and had a team to help him make them.

Allen said in his preview of the Match, “I think, once Tom’s script from his team runs out of jokes, I don’t think he’s going to be able to really think on his feet like that. I feel like I’ve got a lot of practice and just kind of wit and off-the-cuff stuff. I think Aaron’s a little better in that aspect, but yeah, Tom is going to have his little note card out there, and he’s going to run out eventually, and I don’t think he’s going to know what to do.”
