Aaron Rodgers‘ trade to the New York Jets has created a plethora of controversy. Before his arrival, the Jets were considered an average team. However, they have suddenly turned into the most famous team in the NFL. Rodgers has always been at the center of controversy. Therefore, it wasn’t surprising when HBO came knocking for the new edition of the ‘Hard Knocks’.

It was believed that the veteran QB and the Jets weren’t willing to feature themselves on the ‘Hard Knocks’. However, the deal is done and the Jets will be the new team to be featured on the show next season.

Rodgers has finally given his verdict regarding the situation. while participating in the American Century Celebrity Golf Championship in Lake Tahoe, the Jets QB spoke extensively about his involvement in the ‘Hard Knocks’.

“Look, I understand the appeal with us. There’s a lot of eyes on me, a lot of eyes on our team, a lot of expectations for our squad,” Aaron Rodgers stated. “They forced it down our throats and we have to deal with it.”

Aaron Rodgers openly stated that the team had no say in their involvement with the HBOs ‘Hard Knocks’ and they were forced to do it. Still, many will be excited when it airs on HBO in the coming months.

Hard Knocks is a documentary show produced by HBO that features the workings of an NFL team and gives an in-depth view of its players and management. Last season it was the Detroit Lions. This season, the Aaron Rodgers and the Jets will take centre stage.

Rodgers recently stated that he has been a fan of the ‘Hard Knocks’ series and also spoke about its narrator, Liev Schreiber. The veteran QB believes that he has the ‘voice of god’.

“One of the only things I like about ‘Hard Knocks’ is the voice of God, who narrates it, Liev [Schreiber]. I hope I get to meet him,” Aaron Rodgers stated. The shooting for the Hard Knocks will start on the 19th of July when all the Jets players will report for the training camp. However, it will be aired from the 8th of August.
