The New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers is well known for his opinions about psychedelic drugs. He has been open about his love for drugs such as Ayahuasca and has frankly talked about using them on multiple occasions. In that trend, the 39-year-old QB has now advocated for the legalization of the drugs at the psychedelics conference in Denver.

“Is it not ironic that the things that actually expand your mind are illegal and the things that dumb you down have been legal for centuries?” Rodgers said at the conference on Wednesday according to ProFootballTalk. “We’ve got to change that. We’ve got to change that. It’s through awareness and education.”

He claims that he loves talking about it and explaining the positive of the usage.

Rodgers at this stage of his career is not worried about getting canceled on social media but his new team the Jets, who have invested a lot in him, would like for him to stay away from controversial topics for now.
