Aaron Rodgers has created an immeasurable legacy with the Green Bay Packers and has cemented himself as one of the greatest QBs of all time. The 40-year-old QB was drafted by the Packers in the 2005 NFL.
Rodgers won a Super Bowl with the team and even won back-to-back MVPs for his performance. The veteran QB has created many memories in Green Bay. However, all things have come to an end as he is set to join the New York Jets in the latest season.
The Jets signed Rodgers in one of the most expensive trades in NFL history, including 3 draft picks and a conditional 4th pick. With the trade officially done, A-Rod decided to pen down an emotional letter on his Instagram to thank all his teammates, coaches, and amazing fans of Green Bay he made along the way.
“I’m not sure it’s possible to fully express the gratitude that I have to the Packers, our incredible fans, the state of Wisconsin, the thousands of players that I crossed paths with, the incredible men and women who work for the organization, and the amazing people who I got to meet along the way,” Aaron Rodgers stated on his Instagram.
Rodgers was grateful to Green Bay for nurturing him and introducing him to great teammates that he made along the way. He also gave a shout-out to his former HC Mike McCarthy and current HC Matt LaFleur. The Super Bowl-winning QB also mentioned the hard-working staff of the Packers and how he was grateful for each and every one of them.

A-Rod is one of the most loved QBs in the NFL and for all the right reasons. Aaron Rodgers has worked really hard to create what he has right now. In that process, he has made millions of fans who love him completely.
The 40-year-old QB also gave a shout-out to all his fans who have supported him through his strength and weaknesses. Most importantly, Rodgers believes it’s an honor to serve the ‘magical’ fans of Green Bay.
“To the fans, THANK YOU, you made every run out of the tunnel special, every home game magical, and it was my honor to be your QB,” Aaron Rodgers stated.
The Fans also reciprocated the love on Twitter and were pretty emotional over Rodgers’ farewell. A-Rod was truly a Packers legend and defined a generation of fans to follow the team. However, now he starts his journey with another team in New York.
