Earlier this week, the New York Jets acquired Aaron Rodgers from the Green Bay Packers in a blockbuster exchange for a bunch of draft picks. The Jets fans rejoiced about the move and expect a deep postseason run under the veteran leadership of Rodgers. Amidst this situation, Rodgers took time to attend the New York Rangers NHL game at the Madison Square Garden with Breece Hall and Allen Lazard.
The new Jets QB Aaron Rodgers took some time off his hectic week to enjoy some playoff hockey. He attended the Rangers vs New Jersey Devils game with his new teammate running back Breece Hall and WR Allen Lazard.
Playoff hockey has one of the best atmospheres in the sporting world. The crowd will be absolutely wild and the games will be electric. During game 6 of the first-round playoff series between the Rangers and the Devils, Aaron Rodgers was shown on the jumbotron and was formally introduced as the Jets QB. The crowd went absolutely wild and gave Rodgers the loudest cheers of the game.
Aaron Rodgers will join a stacked NY Jets roster and will look to lead them to their first playoff appearance since 2010. The Jets have the longest playoff drought among franchises in the four major US sporting leagues. Rodgers will look to erase that blackmark.
The NY Jets have a 3 year Super Bowl window with Aaron Rodgers
The New York Jets went out and got the former Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers as their new franchise QB. The 10-time Pro Bowl has revealed that this will not be a one-year affair.
The addition of Aaron Rodgers immediately makes the Jets a Super Bowl contender in the AFC. Their division is a tough one as they have to face the Josh Allen-led Buffalo Bills, Tua Tagovailoa-led Miami Dolphins, and Bill Belichick-led New England Patriots twice each in the regular season.
Rodgers will lead a young core of the Jets with his experience. The Jets have some elite talents all around the field and all they needed was stability at the quarterback position. Rodgers will provide much needed support at the quarterback position.
With the 39-year-old QB under center, the Jets now have 2-to-3 years to win the Super Bowl before Rodgers retires. They have the draft capital and salary cap to add pieces surrounding the 4-time league MVP QB to help him lead their franchise to Super Bowl glory.
