Legendary quarterback Aaron Rodgers‘ poor show this season continues as he got booed by the Packers’ fans on a home field on Thursday. The Green Bay Packers lost 17-27 to the Tennessee Titans and have now dropped to 4-7 this season. With this loss, the Packers will go into Thanksgiving week with almost no margin for error in order to qualify for the playoffs.
The three-time defending NFC North champions are two games behind San Francisco (5-4) in the race for the NFC’s final wild-card spot and as optimistic as the fans are, their chances of qualification are very slim. Against the Titans too, the Packers’ defense underperformed massively and Rodgers’ misses didn’t help their cause too.
While the Packers have been out of form for the majority of the season, Rodgers’ clutch performance last week against the Cowboys showed a glimmer of hope to the fans when they won the match in overtime 31-28. It was not to be the case this time against the Titans, especially with Rodgers, who is the main man, missing easy throws.
At an instance in the match, Rodgers had Sammy Watkins wide open in the middle of the field, but he still couldn’t complete the pass. While Watkins was also to be blamed for the incomplete pass, fans are holding Rodgers accountable for the same. He even missed a few very easy throws in the first two quarters, thus handing the ball to the Titans. Rodgers, along with the entire Green Bay team, was booed by the home fans for the team’s poor show.

NFL Twitter slams Aaron Rodgers for his abysmal performance
NFL fans didn’t take much time to slam Rodgers on social media. They believed that the quarterback, with age, can’t throw like he used to and held him accountable for the team’s poor run this season.
The Packers and Aaron Rodgers, after Thanksgiving, will face the Eagles and the Bears in two away games before eventually locking horns with the Rams at home.
