Aaron Rodgers is one of the most celebrated quarterbacks in the league. He has spent 18 years in the NFL and has won several accolades that include Green Bay Packers franchise record, league records, a Super Bowl, and 4x league MVPs. However, for the past three years, there have been continuous talks about his retirement.
He was held back in Green Bay when the team offered him a three-year $150 million contract extension, making him the highest-paid quarterback of all time. After receiving the most lucrative contract in the league, there was a steep drop in his production and it might be because of a thumb injury he suffered during the 2022 season’s Week 5 game.
After having a poor losing season, the Packers are now interested in putting Jordan Love under the center who has been on the bench for the last three years. The franchise is ready to move on from Rodgers and it was evident when they gave him permission to have talks with the Jets regarding a potential trade. The decision of whether he will be back in Green Bay or will fly to New York will be revealed in a few days.

Other than football, Aaron Rodgers also makes headlines for his controversial takes and stances on certain topics. The most noteworthy one that stands out is his love for psychedelic drugs. He has openly spoken about taking Ayahuasca, a psychedelic drug, to improve his mental health. He credited the use of Ayahuasca for his back-to-back MVP seasons.
With the wealth of knowledge and experience he has gained from his use of this psychedelic drug, Aaron Rodgers is slated to speak at the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies’ “Psychedelic Science 2023” event in June. Rodgers is one of the guest speakers for this event, which is set to be the biggest psychedelic gathering in history.
The psychedelic conference is predicted to have a footfall of more than 10,000 attendees and has workshops, guest speeches, and expert panel discussions. The 39-year-old will talk about his love for mushrooms and how to use them to maximize the work output. Even Olympic figure skater Sasha Cohen has been vocal about the use of psychedelic drugs and will also be speaking at the conference.
Since this conference is slated to take place in June, we might see Aaron Rodgers show up donning a new jersey or maybe his old one itself. Only time will tell!
