“Loving football since Ayahuasca,” Aaron Rodgers makes a SHOCKING new admission about using psychedelic drugs
Aaron Rodgers on life since ayahuasca
Aaron Rodgers is back on the Pat McAfee show, where he has been known to be more open with his thoughts and gives insights into his enigmatic life. While he was away from the show he made headlines quite often, the most shocking was when he admitted to using Ayahuasca, a psychedelic drug while on a vacation in the South American country of Peru. The admission had the NFL world raging.
There had been many analysts and eminent football personalities who claimed that the Green Bay Packers Quarterback might have to face the wrath of the NFL for using the substance that the NFL later stated wasn’t banned in the league per policy. Rodgers’s use of the drug was before the last two consecutive MVP seasons. So when the 4 time MVP appeared on the Pat McAfee Show the former Colts’ punter was curious about the same.
“I’ve been enjoying football since I did ayahuasca” – Aaron Rodgers on life since Ayahuasca
Every time Aaron Rodgers is on the show he is quite candid about himself, his decisions, and his life and he once again didn’t disappoint and brought it up himself when McAfee asked him about enjoying football and Rodgers replied with– “I’ve been enjoying it since I did ayahuasca. So the last few years have been great.”
Later McAfee who’s just as curious as the rest of the world asked Rodgers more about it. Rodgers had some curious answers-“Yeah. Mental health, bro. It starts with self-love and when you increase that, then you’re able to pass that on more easily.“
McAfee then asked him about how his experiments with Ayahuasca started and what he expected to change in his life whether there had been any changes and if were they good.
Rodgers replied-“ I hoped for sure. I don’t think you can ever for certain when you are dealing with master plant teachers.”
MacAfee was curious to know what he meant by that.
Rodgers elaborated- “Ayahuasca like its a master plant teacher……..I think there are some master plant teachers from Ayahuasca and Wachuma and Peyote, I mean I haven’t done those other ones but there are many plant teachers that people have been using for thousands and thousands of years.”
Aaron Rodgers went on to say how there are churches across the country that serve them as medicines and people have deep and meaning full experiences. He continued-” For me, it just came down to,… a high school friend and I having a round of golf and talking about his recent Ayahuasca experience.”
Per Rodgers, he was inspired by his friend’s experience to try it as he was himself searching for a deeper level of self-love, and later he went to Machu Pichu in Peru and had magical experiences.
He also went on to talk about how he has learned to accept people around him both who he needs and those he doesn’t and how he has stopped having hatred toward others. Also how he has started loving himself more.
Aaron Rodgers may or may not be helped by his psychedelic drug usage experiences, but those are up for debate/ However the fact that he feels so good and ended up winning two consecutive MVPs makes many believe that it does.
