A moment of miracle can happen in the NFL as Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback for the New York Jets, eyes to have a return in the 2023 playoff games. If the Jets become successful in qualifying for the playoffs, then they can expect Rodgers’ service at the playoffs.
Rodgers was subjected to a major injury in the season opener against the Buffalo Bills. He tore his Achilles and left the field in the first half. Everyone thought that it was a season-ending injury for him. Fans are disappointed as they were eagerly waiting to see Aaron Rodgers’ brilliance on the field in Jets color. However, this brutal injury has changed the scenario.
But the fans now can expect a comeback soon of the veteran and that too in the playoffs. The person who can make this impossible happen is none other than Dr. Neal El Attrache. He and his team performed a unique surgery to treat Rodgers’ torn Achilles. They reportedly performed a procedure to place an internal brace, which is known as Achilles speed bridge, on Rodgers’ left Achilles. This speed bridge is expected to protect and enhance the possibility of an earlier return to the field.
Modern medical science advancements can help Rodgers have a classic comeback. However, it is unsure when he can exactly expect a response. Sources revealed that the player is expected to make a comeback in the divisional round if that miraculously happens. It was thought that the player would only be able to take part in the NFL drama next season. However, as things stand, Rodgers can expect a much earlier return to the field than expected.

The Jets need to ensure the playoffs for Aaron Rodgers’ comeback
The pertinent question is whether the Jets can ensure a playoff without Aaron Rodgers. The four-time MVP award winner was their biggest bet. They planned their entire season by putting Rodgers in the central role. Since the 39-year-old QB will be out for at least six months, a question is floating in the air, who will replace Rodgers?
The most plausible answer seems to be Zach Wilson. He was given the role of the backup QB for the Jets. The team had no plans to put him as a regular starter in Aaron Rodgers’ presence. However, they can’t help now. If the Jets have to see themselves in the playoffs, they need to rely on Wilson for the coming games.
Wilson, who spent much time with Rodgers this offseason, also feels to be in a better shape to take up the challenges and wishes to close the gap of skill at the earliest. It is to be seen whether Rodgers-less Jets can successfully reach the playoffs. For the immediate work, the team will be facing the Dallas Cowboys today.
