Amid the performance of the Buffalo Bills, Aaron Rodgers believes that Josh Allen deserves to be in the discussion for the MVP. He believes that Josh Allen’s performance has earned him the status to be considered in the MVP discussions.

In the recent episode of The Pat McAfee show, the veteran quarterback said that the Bills’ man has done everything to be considered as a contender for the MVP. He emphasized:

If they finish the last two and win out and if Miami loses their next one, the Week 18 is going to be for the division...What if Josh has eight touchdowns the last two weeks and finishes with 48 combined touchdowns? How do you not put him in the conversation?

Josh Allen has had a stellar season this year. The quarterback has completed 27 passing TDs with 13 rushing ones. He has a passing completion rate of 66 per cent and has also covered 3,778 yards of passing. Allen has given his best in crucial games for the Bills.

However, the Bills have not secured their place in the postseason. With a 9-6 record in their 15 games, they need to ensure two more victories to keep them afloat. If they finally manage to win those two games then they will have the chance to cement their place in the postseason.

Aaron Rodgers will not return this season

The possibility of Aaron Rodgers returning is uncertain. There were rumors that Rodgers would return to Christmas Day game for the New York Jets.

After his extensive rehab program, Rodgers was spotted throwing dimes multiple times. He was also spotted on the sidelines quite a few times. With all these things, it was thought that Rodgers would make an early return.

For a while, there was no confirmed news regarding his return. It was unsure when he would return to the gridiron. As things stood earlier, Rodgers had no plan of returning unless the Jets could have made it to the playoffs. Later a change of plan was reported and it was thought that Rodgers would be making an early comeback.

More recently, Rodgers confirmed that he will not be returning in the 2023 season. However, the veteran QB has plans to extend his career beyond the 2024 season.
