Aaron Rodgers has finally come back from his darkness retreat!

The 4x NFL MVP revealed on February 14 on The Pat McAfee Show that he was going to spend four days away from everything to contemplate his future in the league. Aaron Rodgers reportedly wanted to play for someone else other than the Packers and even the franchise was okay with that decision as they are speculated to move on with their 2020 first-round pick Jordan Love.

However, new reports from sources close to the Packers are suggesting that Rodgers is more than likely to stay back in Green Bay and the team doesn’t have any problem with that. And now that the 39-year-old has emerged from his darkness retreat, his decision will be released soon.

ESPN reported that Aaron Rodgers spent his four days and four nights in isolation at Sky Cave Retreats in Oregon. The owner of the Retreats Scott Berman described the facility as a “300-square-foot room…and partially underground structure devoid of light, with a queen bed, a bathroom, and a meditation-like mat. It is fully powered, and the lights can be turned on from inside the room.”

Aaron Rodgers is slated to earn a $60 million salary if he plays for the Packers in 2023. There were a lot of rumors about him joining the New York Jets or the Las Vegas Raiders but all that seems like a pipe dream if recent reports are to be believed. Moreover, the Jets invited Derek Carr to their facility and guaranteed him that he would become a First-Ballot Hall of Famer if he plays for him and wins games. It looks like Carr to the Jets might be finalized any day now.

The Packers now have to decide if they are willing to beat on Rodgers for one more year or make Jordan Love their starter and usher in a new era in Green Bay. There is no doubt that Aaron Rodgers can deliver another playoff season and tie Peyton Manning for the most league MVPs if he stays with the Packers. It’ll be interesting to see what happens in Green Bay’s camp in the coming days!
