Aaron Rodgers‘ rumored girlfriend and social media influencer Mallory Edens reflected on her near-death incident. She is the daughter of Milwaukee Bucks owner Wes Edens. Rumors of Rodgers and Edens dating surfaced late last year when the pair was spotted sitting together during the Bucks vs. Los Angeles Lakers game.

Edens recently took to Instagram to open up about her life-changing accident 10 years ago. She fell from her horse and was left with a traumatic head injury. She opened up about it and posted pictures on her Instagram account.

Mallory Edens wrote on Instagram along with a picture of herself in the hospital:

Today’s a big life milestone for me. 10 years ago today I fell off my horse, got kicked in the head on the way down, and woke up in the ICU with four skull fractures and a traumatic brain injury that changed my life.

She further continued: 

The 19-year-old me, who found herself curled in the fetal position on the floor of a neurologist’s waiting room a few years later, in the middle of an episode of trigeminal neuralgia, and in the kind of physical pain that escapes language. What I was learning about myself then, even though I didn’t know it at the time.

She concluded by referencing the Raymond Carver poem “Gravy,” and wrote:

I’m so excited for the next ten. I wouldn’t change a thing. It’s all gravy, it always has been.

Rodgers previously dated actress Shailene Woodley. They were engaged in 2021 but ended their relationship in 2022 explaining that it “just wasn’t working.” The New York Jets QB is out for the season due to an Achilles injury he suffered in week 1 against the Buffalo Bills.

Aaron Rodgers was bought in by the New York Jets to lead them to the playoffs. However, that plan faltered in the week against the Buffalo Bills when Rodgers suffered an Achilles injury on their first drive. Since then, he has been nursing the injury.

Rodgers is apparently ahead of schedule in his recovery as the 39-year-old QB looks to make a comeback by the end of this season. He revealed that he is way ahead in his recovery and would likely make a comeback in this year’s playoffs if the Jets manage to get there.

The Jets are 3-3 without their main man at center. Backup QB Zach Wilson has been the team’s QB since Rodgers’ injury and he has led his team to wins over the Bills, the Philadelphia Eagles and the Denver Broncos. Rodgers will hope his team can make it to the playoffs this season.
