Aaron Rodgers is at the back end of his career. The 39-year-old recently jump-shipped from the Green Bay Packers to the New York Jets in hopes of winning another Super Bowl ring. The Jets, who boast a young core that includes players like cornerback Sauce Gardner and wide receiver Garrett Wilson, believe they have a shot at winning the championship under the leadership of Rodgers.

The 10-time Pro Bowl QB Aaron Rodgers has already started training with his new teammates. He’s seemingly a lot more involved with the Jets in the off-season than he was with the Packers in the last few years. Besides, Rodgers has also been hanging out with his young teammates in hopes of building some chemistry between them.

The 4-time league MVP recently introduced his new teammate Sauce Gardner to the A-list Hollywood actress Jessica Alba during their visit to Madison Square Garden to witness game 2 of the NBA playoffs matchup between the New York Knicks and the Miami Heat. The Jets players are already reaping the benefits of having a top-tier QB as their leader.

The NY Jets QB Aaron Rodgers, who’s currently training for the upcoming season with his new teammates, sees tremendous potential in the second-year players Garrett Wilson and Sauce Gardner.

“We’ve got, at some point possibly, the best corner and the best receiver in the NFL,” Rodgers said according to The New York Post. “It’s a legit possibility for those two guys. Maybe not this upcoming year — I still think Davante [Adams] is in a league of his own — but those two kids are so talented.”

Well, last season, Gardner and Wilson ended up winning the Defensive Rookie of the Year and Offensive Rookie of the Year awards, respectively. Both players were drafted by the Jets in the 1st round of the 2022 NFL Draft.

The Jets hitting the jackpot in the 2022 Draft is one of the main reasons they have become a Super Bowl contender in a short time. If the Jets were to win anything in 2023, both of those should be playing their best game.

Besides, they also played a huge role in the veteran QB Aaron Rodgers coming to New York. Gardner and Wilson recruited Rodgers during the off-season and soon they could reap the benefits in the upcoming season.
