It seems like Rodgers is heartbroken and understandably so. The star player, after spending 18 years at the Green Bay Packers, jumped onto the New York Jets this offseason. Everyone was eagerly waiting for his masterclass debut against the Bills.

The fans also thought that this was going to be his season, however, the unfortunate injury changed it all. Rodgers spoke about the injury by saying, “Completely heartbroken and moving through all of the emotions.”

There is a possibility that Aaron Rodgers could announce his retirement this season. He is 39 and suffered a major injury. Hence, he might not come back to the field anymore. Rodgers will take the final call, but it seems that some of the NFL stalwarts do not want him to leave professional football. One of them is Robert Saleh, the head coach of the Jets.

In a recent interview, Saleh said that he would be shocked if Rodgers announces his retirement in this condition. Another person was Nathaniel Hackett who said, “Oh, yeah, Whenever Aaron has his mind set on something, good luck to anyone that wants to change his mind.”

For this season, Zach Wison will replace Rodgers on the field. The young quarterback has a mammoth challenge to overcome as it is not easy stepping into the shoes of Rodgers, who won four MVPs during his tenure in the NFL. But Wilson believes he can do it as he feels to be a better player now. He spent a lot of time with Rodgers this offseason and believes that he can provide exceptional performances when it is needed.

The player had a decent game against the Bills. He had a 14-of-21 passing record for 140 yards and had one touchdown along with an interception. It is to be seen how the player performances in the coming time.
