The vaccine war is heating up between the known anti-vaxxer Aaron Rodgers and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Last week, the New York Jets quarterback referred to Kelce as “Mr. Pfizer” over the All-Pro tight end’s vaccine advertisements. And now, Rodgers has gone one step ahead and slammed Kelce in a serious tone.

“Was it not incredible last week? people getting absolutely triggered?,” said Rodgers with a smirk during a recent episode of ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show. “I made a tiny little joke about guys shilling for a potentially corrupt company, and everybody kind of loses their minds a little bit.”

Previously, Kelce had responded to Aaron Rodgers’ “Mr. Pfizer” comments and pointed out how the 39-year-old quarterback works for Woody Johnson, who is the Jets owner and also an heir to the Johnson & Johnson pharmaceutical company. Rodgers also responded to those comments in Tuesday’s appearance on the Pat McAfee Show.

The 10-time Pro Bowl quarterback made it clear that he doesn’t represent the Johnson & Johnson company and only plays for the New York Jets. But Rodgers also added that he wouldn’t mind Kelce calling him Mr. Johnson & Johnson since Woody Johnson and his family have been very nice to him since he arrived in the Big Apple.

Rodgers is currently recovering from the Achilles injury he suffered last month during the Jets’ week 1 game against the Buffalo Bills. He is planning to go through an aggressive rehab and possibly return to the field in this ongoing season itself. Meanwhile, the Jets are trying to make it to the postseason with Zach Wilson as their starting QB in the absence of the veteran signal-caller.

Aaron Rodgers proposes an epic tag team debate against Travis Kelce

During Tuesday’s episode of The Pat McAfee Show, Aaron Rodgers blasted Travis Kelce for his vaccine stance. Furthermore, he also referred to the Chiefs tight end as a guy “shelling for a corrupt company.”

After all this, Rodgers went on to propose an epic tag team debate between a team of him and the Democrat party member Robert F. Kennedy Jr. against a team of Travis Kelce and Dr. Anthony Fauci or whoever the Chiefs tight end prefers to be his side.

Kelce hasn’t responded to the debate proposal yet. The Chiefs tight end might be busy focusing on the Denver Broncos, who they are scheduled to face on Thursday in their week 6 matchup. Maybe after the Broncos game, Kelce might open up about harsh criticism by Rodgers.
