A moment of joy for the New York Jets fans as their heartthrob Aaron Rodgers was seen walking without a crutch for the first time since he suffered that season-ending Achilles injury.
In the season opener against the Buffalo Bills, Rodgers suffered a major injury in his left Achilles and was quickly escorted by the ground staff. His recovery seemed impossible for his teammates and experts.
However, Rodgers was hopeful that he could make a comeback. He went through a successful Achilles tendon surgery. After that, he was carrying a crutch to walk. For the first time since then, the legendary quarterback was spotted without a crutch. His recovery is very much in the process.
In a recent video posted on Twitter by Paul Andrew Esden Jr. from Jets’ ‘All-Access’ footage, Rodgers was spotted coming out of the rehab center ahead of the Jets’ encounter against the Chiefs. It seems that the player is having a successful rehab.

Zach Wilson’s performance this season amidst the absence of Aaron Rodgers
Zach Wilson has not been at the level where he was expected to be in the absence of Aaron Rodgers. He received his coach’s support multiple times but failed to capitalize on things. Wilson covered 911 passing yards in five games with four touchdowns and five interceptions.
With a 61.1% passing completion rate, the ‘accidental QB’ has completed 91 of his 143 passing attempts. Presently, he is standing at 29th among QB rankings.
In the coming matches, Wilson needs to perform better. The Jets need to gear up in the coming games to compensate for a sluggish start that they had at the beginning of the season. It is to be seen how they make things possible and what new tactics they implement.
