Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen are a power couple despite news of their recent spat doing the rounds, they remain a dream couple for people across the world with him being a 7 time Super Bowl champion and her being a massively successful supermodel. They have been married for more than a decade and their 2009 wedding was a headline even back then.
The couple tied the knot in a private ceremony in Costa Rica. Keeping the ceremony private and away from the prying eyes of the paparazzi must have been quite a task as both of them are quite popular in their own right with fans across the world. The world has been interested in their relationship ever since they got together. The interest has only grown leaps and bounds since then, so a story about their wedding has been garnering a lot of attention as rumours of their massive fight linger and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Quarterback gets ready for a new season.
Bodyguards fired SHOTS at paparazzi during Tom Brady-Gisele Bündchen’s wedding
All descriptions of the wedding have painted a flowery picture but all was not as dreamy as the world had been led to believe. Since the couple decided to hold a very private ceremony with close family and friends, and with no press in attendance but the world wanted a glimpse of this event so some resistant photographers tried to capture the moment but guards hired by the couple were ready to deal with such a situation.
Per reports Brady’s former bodyguards approached the paps to confiscate their memory cards to protect the privacy of their employers but the paps decided to make a run for it that’s when the situation escalated and the bodyguards opened fire. The reports were quashed by Brady in an interview with Sports Illustrated’s Peter King-“Absolute total B.s. We found two guys on our property, and we told them to get out. Our security guys didn’t even have guns. There were no shots fired.”
Two guards were later sentenced to 5 years in prison with one being acquitted by a Costa Rican court. What actually happened isn’t widely known but it sure put a damper on the wedding that seemed quite beautiful when Gisele described it in her book Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life– “Around forty people gathered in our open living room: Tom’s and my entire extended family — including nieces — and three good friends apiece. On a nearby table strewn with candles and assorted crystals sat two bowls, one containing honey and the other rice. The honey, it is said, would sweeten our future, and the rice anticipates prosperity.”
The couple has been strong since then and has two beautiful children, setting relationship goals for the rest of the world but the recent reports have been concerning.
