Adrian Peterson a BEAST with gloves on knocks out sparring partner before September 10 clash with Le’Veon Bell

Adrian Peterson to fight Le'Veon Bell on Sep.10

Adrian Peterson and Le’Veon Bell in their prime were two unstoppable running back who made defenders bite the dust quite often but now they will try to make each other go down when they face each other. Peterson and Bell are scheduled to face each other in a boxing match on Sept. 10 at Banc of California Stadium as part of the undercard for the fight pitting Austin McBroom against AnEsonGib.

Peterson who no doubt will one day end up in the Hall of Fame was one of the most jacked players in his prime. With a 6-foot-1, 220-pound frame Peterson’s strength was one of his biggest assets as a footballer and as he transitions to combat sports at 37 years of age fighting a man 7 years younger than him that power would be quite useful but does he still have it?

In a recent video posted on Peterson’s Instagram account, it was lights out for his sparring partner when Peterson hit him with a 2 punch combo.

Peterson who’s preparing for his upcoming contest with Bell looks ready for a mean fight. Was it a lucky shot or does Peterson really have that one-punch knockout power that can decide the bout in a moment? The bout was initially scheduled to take place on July 30th but was postponed. Is Bell ready for what’s coming for him come September 10th? Bell has an advantage of age over the much older Peterson which might play a factor.

Peterson was last seen on an NFL field as part of the Seattle Seahawks while Bell was last on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, while both have not retired officially their NFL career looks all but over.
