The greatest QB of all time, Tom Brady, took some time off his hectic schedule to give some advice to the next-generation signal-callers. He recently had a meet with the Top 4 QBs drafted in the 2023 NFL Draft Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud, Anthony Richardson, and Will Levis. Brady had lunch with the rookie QBs and the Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin in Rubin’s house. The Hip-Hop artist Travis Scott was also present during the meeting.

All four quarterbacks skipped the first day of the NFLPA rookie event to get guidance from the 15-time Pro Bowl QB. A video went viral on social media showing what advice Brady gave the young bucks.

“Going in the second round. In the end, that’s not really that big of a deal,” Brady told Levis. The Kentucky QB Will Levis shockingly slipped out of the first round in the NFL Draft. He was scooped in the second round by the Tennessee Titans, who traded up 8 spots to acquire the talented quarterback. Brady told him that where he was picked really doesn’t matter.

The 45-year-old former QB then turned his attention toward the 1st overall pick Bryce Young. Brady told him that going 1st overall also doesn’t matter if he is not willing to keep putting in the work. Bryce Young was drafted as the No.1 overall pick by the Carolina Panthers.

The New England Patriots icon Tom Brady spoke from his own experience to the new entrants of the league. He advised the rookie QBs to not settle for anything and keep working hard as long as they can to leave a legacy.

“Going first overall in the end, it’s not a big deal,” Brady said. “It’s great! You got an opportunity. You’re probably going to be paid more than anyone for a time period. But I was drafted 199, and I just outlasted everybody. There’s another me back there. So how do I keep my edge on everybody? I had to keep working, I didn’t go, ‘Hey, I’m good. I won three Super Bowls, I’m good.'”

Bryce Young will most likely sit behind the veteran QB Andy Dalton for the first half of the 2023 season. His physique remains a major concern for the Panthers, but their front office is confident that the former Heisman Trophy winner can overcome the adversity.

On the other hand, Anthony Richardson, who is considered the most physically gifted quarterback in the 2023 class, will probably start week 1. His inexperience and accuracy are concerns for the Indianapolis Colts, but they believe Richardson will prevail in the league with some playing time.

Will Levis is expected to be a backup for Ryan Tannehill in Tennessee for most if not the entire 2023 season. As for C.J. Stroud, the Houston Texans are expected to start him straight away and give him some time to adjust to the pace of the NFL.
