Braxton Berrios and girlfriend Alix Earle are in a party mood after the wide receiver cum punt return specialist signed an extension with the Miami Dolphins. To celebrate the moment, the pair attended the Los Angeles Lakers game at Crypto.com Arena in LA.

28-year-old Berrios and 23-year-old social media influencer Earle were at courtside watching the Lakers take on the Atlanta Hawks. Both opted for a casual wardrobe. Berrios wore all khaki, with a white tee peeking through his jacket. Earle, in contrast, chose all-black jackets and pants. She tied her beautiful blonde locks up at the back of her head.

The Lakers dominated the Hawks, recording a comfortable 136-105 victory. D’Angelo Russell had 4 rebounds and 10 assists for 27 points, while LeBron James notched 7 rebounds and 10 assists for 25 points. Anthony Davis had 15 rebounds and 6 assists for 22 points.

The moment Braxton Berrios found out he would remain with the Miami Dolphins

Berrios never played for the New England Patriots, who drafted him in 2018, but instead he made a name for himself in the Big Apple. Primarily a wide receiver, the New York Jets decided to use him as a punt returner and a kick returner. During the 2021 season, Berrios returned kicks 28 times for 852 yards, or 30.4 yards per catch (league best), and one touchdown, en route to his first All-Pro nod.

In 2023, he signed with the Miami Dolphins for a one-year deal. The Miami native, who starred for the Hurricanes in college, registered 18 kick returns for 441 yards. As his contract ran out, there was no news on whether the Dolphins would extend his deal.

FOX Sports reported that Braxton Berrios wrote what seemed like a farewell message for Dolphins fans.

The fact of the matter is, all that, the fact is not ‘dropped.’ Entering free agency. So, 20% of NFL players. It’s just a part of how it goes when your contract is up with that team.

However, a call arrived from the Dolphins office to Berrios, which Earle shared on TikTok. After the call ended, he cheerfully said, “We are going back,” to which she replied, “to Miami?” in excitement.

While there hasn’t been an official announcement about the details of Berrios’ deal, Sports Illustrated speculated that it would be a one-year, $3 million deal. He became the Dolphins’ first unrestricted wide receiver to re-sign with the franchise.
