Looks like the fairytale romance between the NFL star Travis Kelce and the pop sensation Taylor Swift has charmed American Airlines, as they announce a piece of fantastic news for all of the Swifties and Kansas City Chiefs fanbase who are planning to travel to Las Vegas for the Super Bowl LVIII. Given, it’s the perfect celebration for the reigning Super Bowl champions advancing to the final battle of the season, their second consecutive one. 

Both American and United Airlines are introducing custom flight numbers, duly inspired by Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s epic romance, which has brought two entirely separate worlds together. 

So basically, American has released two special flights – one flying from Kansas City to Las Vegas on February 9th and 10th for the Super Bowl LVIII scheduled on February 11th, and the second back to Kansas City from Sin City on February 12th. 

American named the first flight “Flight 1989” dedicated to Chiefs’ tight end’s sweetheart most popular album ‘1989 Taylor’s Version’. The second one “Flight 87” is for Kelce’s jersey number. 

In parallel to that, United Airlines has divulged three special custom flights dedicated to the NFL’s top tight end and his superstar girlfriend, starting from Kansas City International Airport to Las Vegas Henry Reid International Airport on February 8th and 9th. 

The first flight trip is named “UA 1989,” inspired by Swift’s 1989 album, as per the press release. Interestingly, it’s the same year the love birds were born. 

Similarly, the second flight trip is named “UA 2287,” inspired by the 12-time Grammy winner’s popular single ‘22’ and Kelce’s jersey number ‘87’ combined. Ultimately, the third flight trip, which is named “UA 1587,” is a special dedication to the dynamic duo of Patrick Mahomes and Kelce inspired by their jersey number. 

Will Taylor Swift attend the Chiefs’ second consecutive Super Bowl game?

The pop sensation wouldn’t be able to catch any flights specially named after her and her beau, as she is likely to take a long flight from Tokyo on a day before the Super Bowl LVIII, on February 10th.

After celebrating her boyfriend’s major AFC championship victory, where the two were spotted sharing an intimate kiss, Swift went right back to her schedule to go on her Eras Tour in Tokyo. She plans to land Sin City just in time to wish Kelce best wishes and be there when his team becomes the second consecutive Super Bowl champion.

Though by any means, if Swift’s schedule is delayed, she can access her astonishing collection of private jets. The “Lover” songwriter hasn’t missed any playoff games of the Chiefs this season, and she sure isn’t planning to do that now.
