The Florida Gators quarterback Anthony Richardson’s stock continues to be on the rise in the QB rankings in the upcoming NFL Draft. Richardson’s remarkable performance at the NFL Combine left scouts in awe. Furthermore, during the Combine, the 21-year-old quarterback also vowed to work hard until he reaches the legendary status of QBs like Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes.

During the Combine, Richardson addressed the media, where he revealed that he wants to reach legendary status and he will work hard for it. “I want to be a legend. I want to be like Patrick Mahomes, I want to be like Tom Brady, I want to be one of the greats, I will be one of the greats because I’m willing to work that hard and get to that point. To answer your question, I feel like I’m going to be one of the greats for the next few years,” said Richardson during the NFL Combine.

Will Anthony Richardson get drafted in the first round?

Anthony Richardson is one of the most interesting prospects to come out of college this year. He is neither a Sureshot prospect like C.J. Stroud nor has the experience of a prospect like the Kentucky QB Will Levis, but his athletic abilities are second to none.

The 6’4″ QB dressed up for the Gators for three years. He played in only 22 games for the University of Florida and has an abysmal 54.7% completion percentage, but he has made some jaw-dropping throws whenever his team needed him the most.

The young quarterback is one of the rawest talents in this year’s draft class. But time is on his side, Richardson can sit behind a veteran QB for multiple years and learn the game slowly and steadily.

So it’s tough to see him get drafted before C.J. Stroud, Bryce Young, and Will Levis, but in this QB-deprived league, any team with the mid to late first round will be happy to dress him in their team colors.
