The 2023 NFL Draft week is finally here! The Carolina Panthers, who gave up a lot to acquire the No.1 overall pick in the NFL Draft, is apparently still undecided on which quarterback they want to select. According to multiple reports, the Panthers are torn between Alabama QB Bryce Young, Ohio State QB C.J. Stroud, and Florida QB Anthony Richardson.
All three quarterbacks are top NFL prospects and have the potential to lead an NFL franchise, but Bryce Young‘s physique and C.J. Stroud’s low score in the s2 cognition test are causes for concern. On the other hand, Anthony Richardson is the most physically gifted quarterback in this draft class. However, he is still very raw and will need a lot of time before he can adjust to the NFL level.
Anthony Richardson is projected to be a first-round draft pick. Apart from the Panthers, multiple other teams like the Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, and the Tennessee Titans have shown a massive interest in the talented quarterback. If those teams believe they can develop a raw prospect into a franchise quarterback, they’ll certainly try to pick Richardson with their first-round pick. One of those teams will have a franchise QB prospect on their roster in the next few days.
Amidst this situation, the 6’4″ 236-pound quarterback prospect, Anthony Richardson, has made a rather bold claim. He says he wants to leave a Hall of Fame legacy in the NFL when it’s all said and done.

Florida QB Anthony Richardson has high ambitions
During a recent interview with GQ Sports just days ahead of the much-anticipated 2023 NFL Draft, the Florida product Anthony Richardson revealed his goals for his Pro Football career.
“I’m gonna be in the Hall of Fame one day,” Richardson said in a recent interview with GQ Sports. “I already know it. I’m going to grind until I am a Hall of Famer. I’m going to make sure of it. Just making it to the NFL, that’s not enough. I gotta be one of the best to ever do it. That’s just how I am.”
Anthony Richardson suited up in 22 games for the Florida Gators over 3 years. During his junior year in 2022, Richardson started 12 games and accumulated more than 3000 total yards and 26 total touchdowns.
However, he threw 9 interceptions in those 12 games. His dual-threat ability might be a great asset for him in the NFL, but he will have to work on his accuracy and pocket presence if he wants to play at a Hall-of-Fame level.
