Yaqub Talib brother of former NFL defensive back Aqib Talib turned himself in after a warrant was issued for his arrest in connection with a fatal shooting that took place at a youth football game in Texas where coach Mike Hickmon was shot fatally. In a surprising turn of events, a video was published by a local news channel in Dallas.
WFAA-TV Dallas published a video that showed the moments before coach Mike Hickmon was killed. The station also reported that according to some witnesses Aquib Talib was in the video wearing a hat and white sneakers. Witnesses also say that Talib was the one who initiated the brawl that ultimately ended in Coach Hickmon’s untimely death.

Aqib Talib’s brother has been charged with murder
While Aqib’s involvement in the whole incident is not quite clear his elder brother Yaqub is being charged with murder as the police continue to investigate whether any other charges are to be added.
Aqib Talib’s lawyer, Frank Perez, issued a statement saying his client “was present when this unfortunate incident occurred and is very distraught and devastated over this terrible loss of life. He would like to convey his condolences to the family of the victim and to everyone who witnessed this unfortunate tragedy.”
Talib who retired from the NFL in 2020 played for the likes of Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New England Patriots, Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Rams, and the Miami Dolphins. He was part of the Denver Broncos when they won Super Bowl 50.
