On Monday, the New York Jets and the Los Angeles Chargers dueled against each other at the MetLife Stadium in their week 9 matchup. Fans who turned on ESPN’s Manningcast to watch the game had a big surprise on the screen as the special guest, Arnold Schwarzenegger, brought out his pet donkey on live telecast, which left Peyton Manning and Eli Manning stunned.

During the first quarter of the game between the Jets and the Chargers, the Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger joined the show as a special guest. When he joined the show, the camera captured ‘The Terminator’ star hand-feeding his pet donkey, which confused both hosts, Peyton and Eli Manning. Eli said on Manningcast.

Shortly after, Arnold’s pet donkey faded away from the camera. Arnold appeared on the show to promote his book named, “Be Useful: Seven Tools for Life” which talks about seven rules people should follow to find their true purpose in life.

The former Governor of California wasn’t the only star in this week’s edition of Manningcast. The Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence also joined the show on Monday, quickly after Arnold’s unexpected exit from the show.

On the sporting side of things, the Jets got smashed by the Chargers on the field and suffered a brutal 27-6 loss. With that loss, the Jets fell to a 4-4 record, but are still in the hunt for a postseason spot.

Now the thing about it is all of the football players are working out so hard. They lift so many heavy weights and they’re so powerful. It’s like unbelievable.
Arnold told Peyton and Eli Manning on ESPN.

Then, the 76-year-old star talked about how back in his days, the NFL players were not into lifting weights. Arnold said that the football players thought that lifting heavy weights would slow them down and, in general, a bad thing.

In my days, when I came over to America, weightlifters did the lifting and the football players did the football playing, but they didn’t do any lifting. They always thought it would slow you down.

But, now he sees weightlifting being a big part of football players’ workout sessions. He further said that weightlifting has become a big thing across all the sports before signing off from the show.
