As everyone expected, the veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers made his New York Jets debut last weekend in a preseason game against the New York Giants. Plenty of fans were present in the MetLife Stadium to witness Rodgers’ Jets debut and one among them was the veteran’s rumored girlfriend Mallory Edens.
Mallory, the daughter of the NBA franchise Milwaukee Bucks owner Wes Edens, shared a picture on her Instagram story from the MetLife Stadium, where she witnessed her alleged boyfriend in action. Rodgers was in the game for 2 series and completed 5 of his 8 pass attempts for 47 yards and 1 touchdown. Besides, he also threw his first touchdown in a Jets uniform as he connected with wide receiver Garrett Wilson on a 14-yard fade throw.
Mallory Edens and Rodgers were first linked when they attended a Bucks game together earlier this year. Rodgers is a minority owner in the Milwaukee-based NBA franchise. Furthermore, both Rodgers and Edens also attended Ed Sheeran’s concert in New York back in June but it is not certain whether they went to the concert together or just separately.
Before Edens, Rodgers was engaged to Hollywood actress Shailene Woodley. The 10-time Pro Bowl quarterback announced his engagement new back in 2021 before the couple decided to split last year. Rodgers also had a long-term relationship with the NASCAR driver Danica Patrick from 2018 to 2020 and ‘The Predator’ fame Olivia Munn from 2014 to 2017.
Nonetheless, Edens witnessed Rodgers and the Jets securing a 32-24 victory against the NY Giants. In the game, there were also other exciting moments like the matchup between the 2022 Defensive Rookie of the Year Sauce Gardner and the Jets’ rookie wideout Jalin Hyatt.
Aaron Rodgers and the Jets will start their 2023 campaign with a tough game
During the 2023 NFL off-season, the Jets roped in the 4-time league MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers to address their need in the QB position. Ever since they acquired Rodgers, the Jets have been considered as Super Bowl contenders.
Rodgers has a good supporting cast around him to help him win the Super Bowl with the Jets. But they have a tough schedule ahead of them in 2023 that could spoil the fun for the New York-based football team.
The Jets will start their 2023 campaign with a tough home game against their AFC East Division rivals Buffalo Bills. The Bills have won the AFC East for the last 3 years and it will be tough for Rodgers and the Jets to dethrone them.
Still, Rodgers with the new-look Jets offense will look to set the tone for the rest of the season with a victory over Josh Allen and the Buffalo-based franchise on September 11.
