Baker Mayfield has had a tough start to life with Carolina Panthers as the QB has struggled to find momentum. His increasingly abysmal performances led the team to demote him to the backup position and promote PJ Walker as a starter.
Walker was in decent form but suffered an injury that put him out of the Ravens game and accordingly, Mayfield had to take up the reigns as the starting QB.
The Panthers QB performance was devastating, as the Ravens won the game with a score of 13-3. It was a low-scoring game, and the Panthers weren’t able to score a single touchdown.
Mayfield threw for 196 yards and had 0 touchdowns with 2 interceptions. Shannon Sharpe was enraged by Mayfield’s performance and decided to hit back at the Panthers QB on the Undisputed.
This resulted in him getting into a heated debate with his compatriot Skip Bayless, as both of them argued over Mayfield’s current form. The incident started when Sharpe accused Bayless of speaking in between while it was his turn to talk.
Sharpe started his rant by stating, “I will talk about whatever I want to” Sharpe stated, “I got the floor.” The former NFL TE then pointed out that Mayfield has the worst QBR in all of the league and went on to call him a clown, bum, and trash.

Baker Mayfield is a highly polarizing player, as some people completely despise him while some stand by him regardless of his performance, such was the case on Undisputed.
Skip Bayless stood by the Panthers QB and defended him. This further agitated Sharpe, who doubled down on his rant for Baker Mayfield. The QB was in exceptional form when he was still playing for his former team, the Browns. However, the trade has not worked out for him as the QB looks to redeem himself. The netizens too had a say on this entertaining ‘debate’.
After arguing about Mayfield, the Undisputed duo started to debate about each other’s Twitter followers while condescending to each other.
Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe have a knack for arguing in the middle of the show. This also makes them one of the most-watched NFL analysts in America.
Baker Mayfield will need a sharp change in mindset if the QB wants to save his career and chase glory with the Panthers. The Panthers will be up against the Broncos in their next game as they try to cover up their loss with a win against them.
